Whenever I travel,
I always make an effort to learn at least a few basic words in the local
language. I normal download one of the free apps available for telephones, and
star standing the language 1 or 2 weeks before.
I have found out that everywhere in the world
people appreciate, at least the intention and make the interaction immediately
easier.
And if the lessons didn’t work, just remember:
All people smile in the same language.
