No doubt, the best place is around Stockwell Road. Every
other shop is a Portuguese premise.
This area is known as little Portugal, and you can get
any traditional dry goods, charcuterie, frozen products, butchers, wine
cellars, restaurants etc. Some places also have Brazilian items.
My favourite for shopping is Serrana, their wine
cellar is pretty good. I also buy frozen items and delicatessen from them.
For breakfast and lunch I like to go to Sintra café,
and they also have a grocery attached and amazing pastel de nata for £1.
Very good value for money but let me tell you that
those places are very simple and humble. For dinner go to Grelha D`Ouro or o Cantinho.
I have been to other places speacialy around Acton and I didn’t like the quality.
So I keep going back to Stockwell,
