I always thought that making bread was a task for superpowered people. But I was wrong because if I can make bread anyone could do.
The first time I made bread was not long ago.I found a recipe online and I followed it but the result was not quite what I was expecting so I decided to repeat the recipe but change a few things.
And since then I’ve been making my own recipe and I absolutely love it.
So what I need for my bread is:
• 350 g of rye dark flour
• 200 g of white Strong flower
• 7 g of dried Yeast
• 1 tablespoon of sugar
• 250 ML of water
• 30 Ml of Olive oil
Mix all the ingredients and then need for abou hi t 10 minutes on the plane surface splashed with a bit of oil.
Place it back in the bowl and cover with clingfilm and Let it rest for about 45m to 1h.
After that time shape into a bloomer Without working much the door so the air doesn’t go away. Place on a tree with parchment paper and cover with a wet towel and let it prove for another hour.
Make two or three cuts on the top of the bread, and rub the bread with water before adding some oatmeal, if you have, and also some course grounded wheat.
Bake in the pre-heated oven at 200° fan for around 45 minutes.
After that remove from the tray and place on the rack to dry to avoid the soggy bottom.
Tried to resist to cut it before it gets cold!
You will get the sort of heavy bread that I normally cut in very thin slices.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!!
