Saturday breakfast happiness has a name it is called in Portuguese: PÃO DE DEUS, which means God`s bread. Basically it’s a cake made with bread dough, with a little bit of sugar and coconut.You can have it plain, but it’s much better when served with butter and ham.It’s just one of these things very hard to resist.The mix of sweet and salty is so addictive, and then if you serve it with a coffee...You will have a happy day guaranteed. It is very popular in all bakeries in Portugal, specially in Lisbon, but in London, I normally need to travel to Stockwell or Notting Hill where there is a bakery.
