I had the giant mint plant and I wasn’t sure what to do with it as it was getting out of control so I discovered online how to dry meant using the microwave.
It couldn’t be easier.
Just pick the main leaves and put it on a plate covered with kitchen towel.
Microwaved 10 seconds at a time until crispy. It took me 30 seconds.
Then, I crumbled the leaves and stored in a container. The fragrance it’s just amazing and nothing compered with the dry mint we buy from the shops. It's perfect to use with preserves like labneh.
