Morzine, French Alps:Wedding, flowers and snow

My trip to Morzin in the French Alps had a very serious propose: Attend the wedding of one of my best friends, and also be responsible for the flowers arrangements, candles and decoration in general. Upon arrival, no snow, a cold sunny, day and lots of stress, with a huge table full of flowers and foliage of all types, and the responsibility of making this bits and bobs look decent for my friend´s big day! Maybe would be interesting to mention that I had no previous experience in this activities, and the idea come up, after my curiosity led me to a flower arrangement workshop. What is Tuna Muxama

W hat is Muxama M uxama is a tuna loin salted and dried in an artisanal way that remotes past centuries, when products had to be preserved to last until the next season. Is a Portuguese delicacy form South of Portugal and is not widely consumed in Portugal, probably because of the price, as is not a cheap product. It is typically found in the Algarve region. The texture is similar to Parma Ham, and sometimes is called the ham of the sea. It can be used as a starter, snack in salads or even be part of a main meal. In Algarve can be found in Olhão Market or at Apolónia Supermarket in Almancil. After cutting thin slices with a knife I like to add some oil and dried oregano and serve with thin slices of toasted sourdough bread.
