- Half litre of full fat milk one extra tablespoon to make up for evaporation
- One vanilla pod scrapped.
- 6 eggs (whole)
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
Boil the milk for five minutes with vanilla seeds to flavour the milk and the allow to cool down
Mix the sugar and egg just enough to bind them
Allow the milk to cool down and mix it with egg mix
Use a little bit of sugar and water to make some caramel at the bottom of the tin
Poor The mix into the tin and cover with kitchen foil
Cook in Bain-Maria in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes
Allow to cool down before removing from the team
Can cook one or 2 days ahead.
