No wonder Peru has been considered one of the world’s best culinary destinations. The fact that the country has such a diverse culture, and covers diverse geographical regions from coast to jungle areas and mountains, originated a rich diverse gastronomic palette of flavours and combinations. But for sure is not only the cultural and geographical diversity that make such a rich blend, as other countries have the same diversity in terms of territorial occupation and different cultures. Seems like there is something else, a sort of proud in the way foods are cooked. From top restaurants to humble little local restaurants, the food is always presented in a very well cared way and meals are always balanced. Also there has been a recreation of the original recipes, that have been adapted to the world´s demand for new cuisine that combines tradition with modernity.
