Helena Out and About

Most of us read about the typical souvenirs to buy in Morocco like leather bags, pillows, Moroccan poufs, bedcovers,  wood works sand so one. I totally agree that they are fantastic items to buy, but I found lots of other little things that make beautiful gifts or little decoration notes, to use in our homes in less exotic places. I really enjoyed to buy small tubes of shower gel and little soaps orange blossom scented. I paid for the shower gel 19 MAD something like £1.51 and for the soap 7DHR something like £0.55. I bought those In Marrakesh at Le Sens de Marrakech , right opposite to the Majorelle Gardens.The shop is lovely and there is something for all sorts of pockets. I also think this bookmarks with Fatima’s hand are very pretty, colourful and useful, and I paid only 15 MAD for each in the Souk. Also the little baskets that you can find in Souks. I found that the best places for baskets was the Souk in Essaouira . This one cost something like 30 MAD. Some of these ...
